This is a song by Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers in 1956 and being a hit by Diana Ross in 80's. My first time of hearing it was in college around 1995. The song is a joyful and brisk 80's song though it is not my style. The lyric is simple and... occasional. Valentine's Day is for lovers, not for me, but I still decide to write it down and wish someday I am that fool.
Why do birds sing so gay And lovers await the break of day Why do they fall in love Why does the rain fall from up above Why do fools fall in love Why do they fall in love Love is a losing game Love can be a shame I know of a fool, you see For that fool is me Tell me why, tell me why Why do birds sing so gay And lovers await the break of day Why does my heart skip a crazy beat For I know it will reach defeat Tell me why, tell me why Why do fools fall in love Tell me why, tell me why
